What is an iBanker?

iBankers provide clients with the ability to conduct transactions beyond the traditional ATM with the assistance of an iBanker (a live teller) through video support. It is also commonly referred to as an ITM (Interactive Teller Machine). 

Are iBankers secure?

Yes. iBankers have several security features that allow for client authentication. In addition, there are parameters set to prevent potential fraud. 

What type of transactions can an iBanker process?

You will be able to do anything you can do at an ATM and much more with a live video teller! Additional transactions include:

  • Cash a check
  • Make loan payments
  • Inquire about your accounts
  • Make a deposit

Are iBankers available 24/7?

You will be able to connect with one of our iBankers Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, and Saturdays 8:00 am - noon, excluding bank-observed holidays. It is still available to use as a standard ATM 24/7.

When you request assistance at an iBanker, who answers?

When you request help or have a transaction that requires approval, you will be connected with one of our iBankers through video support. 

Can non-TriStar Bank clients use iBankers?

Yes. Non-TriStar Bank clients can use iBankers just as they would with a Universal Banker inside one of our branches. They can also cash checks drawn off a TriStar Bank account, but they will require assistance from an iBanker to do so.

Can I choose bill denominations when withdrawing cash from an iBanker?

Yes, when conducting a cash withdrawal, select your bills or choose from options like “fewest bills” or “mixed bills.”

Will the iBanker dispense coins? What if I want to cash a check that is not an even amount?

The iBanker does not dispense coins. To cash a check of a variable amount, the iBanker will give you the option to deposit the coin/change amount into your account or you can cash your check in-branch and receive your change.

Will my deposit be processed as it is when I go inside the branch?

Your deposit will be processed the same way, whether you interact with a universal banker in our branch or with one of our iBankers. 

If I deposit a check with an iBanker, how will I confirm it has been received?

The iBanker will print out an image of the check to confirm its receipt.

Can I still go into the branch if I choose?

Yes. You may choose to perform iBanker-assisted transactions or continue to visit any of our TriStar Bank branches during regular business hours. 

Are iBankers replacing people? Is anyone losing their job due to this?

Our caring bankers are not being replaced. We are adding the iBanker option to further enhance the value and convenience of banking with a community bank.
